Mid-Autumn, called “Tết Trung Thu” in Vietnam, is a traditional fetive activity involving moon viewing on the 15th of August in Lunar Calendar.
Many country in the Sinosphere like Vietnam, China or Taiwan regard this as a very important day in their culture.

Unlike Moon-viewing festival or Harvestmoon festival in Japan, this day is celebrated with the offering of mooncakes and a day for children in Vietnam.
